AN AUDIENCE WITH CLIVE JAMES
An evening with one of Australia's best loved exports, where the laughs and anecdotes are sure to come thick and fast, marks the publication of the 4th volume of Clive James' highly acclaimed memoirs. Many audiences will have first become familiar with Clive through his TV work: Saturday Night Clive, Clive James on Television and Clive James Meets... are just a few of his hugely popular shows.
He worked on The Observer as a television reviewer, a column which he wrote for 10 years and among his other writings include four novels and several books of poetry. He is one of the most affectionately regarded writers of recent times and his latest volume, My Name in Lights, might have been designed to prove, all over again, that when he writes he speaks, and when he reads his work aloud, he is a show all on his own.
