This lively and interactive play for schools explores the importance of mathematics and problem solving in everyday life including number patterns, mental calculations and deduction and is based on the National Curriculum for Maths and the Numeracy Targets. Baz is not the most gifted or popular child in his school - in fact if it weren't for bad luck he wouldn't have any luck at all! However, when he finds a Tamagotchi things definitely take a turn for the better - all of a sudden he's a mathematical genius! But at what cost? When his school enters him into the popular television quiz 'What's your number?' the Tamagotchi shows itself in an entirely different light…
