The year is 1933, and young, talented and ambitious dancer Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York from small-town Pennsylvania with only one dream: to see her name up in lights. Landing a spot in the chorus of the Great White Way’s newest musical comedy, she finds herself confronting the the driven, egotistical director, making an enemy of the jealous, aging star of the show, and tangling with the handsome, brash leading man. And with so much to learn, when will she ever get her own chance to shine?!
