The Academy Watford Upper School Summer Show

23rd May 2021

The Academy Watford Upper School Summer Show

Lower Senior, Upper Senior and Company students from The Academy Watford.

Our first big show back in a theatre since lockdown, featuring musical medleys from Mean Girls, In The Heights, Something Rotten, Les Mis, Bring it On and Come From Away! Your first chance to come and see The Academy Kids back on stage!

This show will use The Radlett Centre's new cabaret style setting with audience members sat at tables rather than traditional theatrical seating, allowing for social distancing at all times. Please try to book the table size you need. If your desired table size is not available online please call The Radlett Centre Box Office (01923 857546) as they will be able to adjust table sizes for you.

Doors open 30 mins before the performance to allow plenty of time for audience members to safely enter the auditorium. During this time audience members can order drinks served directly to your covid secure table whilst our wonderful Singing Teacher Emily serenades you with a Jazz set.

Please note: audience members will be required to wear masks at all times and may only leave their table to use restrooms.

Covid Roadmap: Theatres are allowed to reopen from 17th May. When booking tables please remember the rule of 6 / 2 households still applies. (For example 2 parents & 1 child from one family could book a table with 2 parents & 1 children from another family totalling 6 people)

All students are working in bubbles of 15 as per Government Guidelines and will remain socially distanced at all times both onstage and backstage. All students and Faculty will also be tested prior to the weekend.
