When a camp young German homosexual, and a conservative
elderly Jew are thrown together in a concentration camp,
they appear at first to have little in common. But humour
is a great weapon, and therefore suspicion, prejudice, mistrust
and indifference slowly give way to a touching friendship.
This award–winning drama deals with the Holocaust
by accentuating the private experience amidst a tragedy
of millions.
