RICHARD DURRANT: THE GUITAR WHISPERER
Richard returns to Radlett to perform his idiosyncratic guitar show featuring acoustic and electro/acoustic music, familiar pieces from the guitar repertoire, folk tunes and his own hypnotic compositions. There is also a stunning new interpretation of Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint to mark the composer's 70th birthday. The show spans the worlds of classical, world and acoustic music, with its use of guitars, banjo, ukulele, cello, bodhran and live sampling. Always a great entertainer, Richard is sure to make the evening both memorable and enjoyable.

STACEY KENT & HER MUSICIANS
Stacey Kent returns with another fabulous show combining favourite songs and old standards. She sings with a top band of musicians, including her husband, saxophonist Jim Tomlinson. His new album, The Lyric, has already been nominated for 'Album of the Year' in the BBC Jazz Awards, although it is as much Stacey's CD as it is her husband's, since she sings on 11 of the 13 tracks! Tomlinson's tenor saxophone ranges from meltingly lyrical to brightly swinging and the arrangements suit the songs and Stacey's amazing vocals to perfection.

Following their sell-out performance here last year, The Counterfeit Stones band are raring to go with an all-new version of their multi-media mockumentary! The show is made up of a blend of stunningly accurate live renditions of the Stones' music, as well as gags and pastiche film clips to lovingly (and laughingly) cover the history of the Rolling Stones from 1963 through to the stadium gigs of the 1980s.
EARLY BOOKING RECOMMENDED.
