HUMPHREY LYTTELTON & HIS BAND
In January 2003 Humphrey Lyttelton celebrated 50 years as a band leader, with a band which he ranks as one of the very best of his career. Its hallmark is versatility, reflected in a repertoire which extends from early traditional to modern by way of Ellington and Basie. Throughout this time the band has changed style and line-up. It is now eight-strong, the biggest since the late fifties and still full of surprises. An original evening of jazz at its very best.
