SYNTHESIS – AMERICAN BIG BAND JAZZ
Lauded as one of the finest student jazz ensembles in the
world, Brigham Young University’s Synthesis has been
thrilling audiences worldwide since 1971. The group’s
tours have spanned 17 nations and four continents bringing
“big band” jazz to dozens of sold-out concert
halls and jazz festivals. Incorporating music written by
well-known artists such as Duke Ellington and George Gershwin,
as well as pieces written by some of the band’s own
members, Synthesis plays a wide variety of jazz, fusion,

BIG GIRLS DON’T CRY
A Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Frankie Valli started his singing career in 1952. As
the lead singer of the Four Seasons, he had a string of
hits beginning with no. 1 hit Sherry in 1962. In 1975,
Valli’s song My Eyes Adored You hit no. 1 on Billboard's
Hot 100 and he sang the theme song from the 1978 film
version of Grease, which was also a no.1 smash hit. This
exciting show is one hundred percent live and guaranteed
to have you dancing in the isles, as those “Jersey
Boys” perform many hits from both sides of the Atlantic
including Bye Bye Baby, Stay, Silence is Golden, Working
My Way Back to You Babe, Oh What a Night, plus many more…
