Shakespeare 4 Kidz
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
The award-winning Shakespeare 4 Kidz return with their acclaimed musical theatre adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Set in Athens against the background of a Royal Wedding the play tells three interweaving stories: four young friends are involved in a dispute concerning an arranged marriage; six working men are rehearsing a play to be performed at the Royal Wedding feast; whilst the King and Queen of Fairyland's constant arguing has upset the balance of the mortal world. The mischievous sprite Puck stirs all the ingredients to create a magical, midsummer mayhem in the woods … or is it just a Dream?
