Clare Teal

  From presenting her weekly Radio 2 shows, to supporting Liza Minnelli, to performing at the BBC Proms, Clare Teal can do it all – which is how her concerts can cover such a huge spectrum of sounds and genres so wonderfully. And although rooted in the jazz traditions of the 1930’s and 40’s, the main focus is on Clare’s interpretations and delivery of some of the greatest British songs of the last 100 years. From Ivor Novello and Noel Coward to Annie Lennox and Snow Patrol, the show wends its way through 100 years of pure class. The evening promises to be as varied as it is entertaining, with Clare’s inimitable humour and banter mixed perfectly with uplifting ballads and up-tempo classics.
